Who is an Office Raver? A person who listens to electronic dance music while at work, particularly in an office setting.
About Office Ravers is an electronic dance music duo comprised of dj/producer's Nine2Five and Mr.Outlook. In addition to producing original tracks and remixes, a free podcast is released every two weeks via iTunes.

The Office Ravers Podcast is a continuous one-hour mix of hand selected tracks that are currently impacting the EDM world. It is intended for the everyday office worker who also happens to be a dance music enthusiast.

The goal of Office Ravers is to spread our love for dance music and bring together all the office-ravers across the world who share the same passion.

Musical Background In my early teen years I developed passion for early Techno music. I spent hours every day making remixes of tracks at my friend’s house. Later on I started playing drums and my drum teacher was a producer, so I ended up staying after hours in the studio. I started producing after I came to the US and had three jobs to be able to afford my music equipment. In college, I worked in a studio recording local talents while studying towards an engineering degree. I managed to get a good non-musical job with one of the most admired companies in the world.

Oddly, I met Mr.Outlook on a business trip and we clicked right away. We managed to move to the same city and the rest is the Office Ravers you know of :)

Musical Background In the late 90s, I discovered electronic dance music through Napster. It was during a time in which trance was beginning to explode in Europe and therefore sparked my early obsession with the genre. I feel in love with the powerful melodies and studied the top DJs including Tiesto, Ferry Corsten, and Armin Van Buuren to understand the art of mixing, seamless blending, and the importance of creating a journey and story for the listener.

In college, I purchased my first complete DJ equipment included turntables, mixer, and speakers and was finally able to share my love for music at formal dances, house parties, and local bars.

After college, I started work for a large engineering company and wondered where I was going to take my passion for music. As if on purpose, on a business trip in NY, I met Nine2Five during a late night discussion about music and started sharing thoughts about audio software, podcasts, and upcoming producers. Several online chat sessions later, Office Ravers was born in 2011.
